This policy is drawn up in accordance with Law no. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data of the Republic of Moldova, which fully transposes EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

The Company is not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as it does not carry out large-scale systematic monitoring and does not process special categories of data.
2. What data we collect and from whom
We process data about site visitors and about people who fill in the contact form. The site has no user accounts and does not require registration.
Categories of data:
- data voluntarily provided through the contact form: name, email address, subject, message;
- technical data collected automatically while browsing: IP address (anonymized), browser/device type, pages visited, visit duration;
- locally saved preferences: visual theme, language, cookie choice.
We do not collect special categories of data (health, political opinions, biometric data, etc.) through the site.

4. Cookies
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or configure non-essential cookies. You can change your choice anytime from "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Analytics cookies are activated exclusively after your consent and are not set by default. We also use aggregate traffic statistics tools that do not create a per-visitor identifier, which is why they do not require consent.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data may be accessed, strictly for the purposes above, by the following categories of processors:
- hosting, cybersecurity and content delivery providers, for the site's operation and protection;
- a provider that processes messages submitted through the contact form;
- an email hosting provider;
- a web traffic analytics provider, only with your consent;
- a maps embed provider on the Contact page, only on your explicit action.
These providers act as processors, under their own data processing agreements. On request, we can provide the exact identity of each provider. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
6. International data transfers
Some of the processors mentioned in Article 5 may process data outside the Republic of Moldova, including in third countries, under the conditions of art. 44-50 of Law no. 195/2024, based on standard contractual clauses or other adequate safeguards.
7. Retention period
- Contact form messages: kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact, then deleted or anonymized; the form's technical processor may keep a raw copy for longer, under its own retention policy;
- analytics data: as per the durations in Article 4;
- data required to comply with a legal obligation: for the period required by law.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, port your data, and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@sergosystems.com. We respond within one month, with a possible extension of up to 60 days in justified cases.
9. Data security
The site uses encrypted connections only, the infrastructure it is hosted on provides DDoS protection and malicious traffic filtering, and data access is restricted to authorized personnel. The contact form is additionally protected by an anti-bot system.
In the event of a personal data breach that may pose a risk to the rights of data subjects, we will notify the National Center for Personal Data Protection and, where applicable, the affected individuals, as required by law.
